costumi da bagno, anzi Fashion Rio, la fashion week brasiliana per la
Primavera-Estate 2012/2013 è stata un tripudio di abiti a
stampe floreali, interpretate anche per la moda uomo, creando dei
veri e propri “total look da coppia“. In questo post
ho selezionato il meglio della kermesse:

AUSLÄNDER has presented a collection inspired by the 50’s,
characterized by pastel colors and floral prints combined with gold
accessories. For men: pastel-colored suits made by
three-button jackets with double lapels and short pants,

fortemente ispirata agli anni 50, caratterizzata dai colori pastello
abbinati a dettagli e accessori dorati. Per l’uomo: camicie e
polo floreali si accompagnano a completi semi-eleganti con
giacche a tre bottoni dal doppio bavero e shorts attillati.

Warm colors for
CANTÃO, such as earth, ochre and yellow, mixed with cobalt
and light green. The inspiration comes from the old print works with
the movable types. The aprons become short dresses tight at

floreali e i colori accesi, simbolo della maison sin dagli anni ’60,
permangono in tutta la collezione su capi dalla silhouette
rilassata abbinati a zeppe vertiginose e maxi pochette
in nappa coordinate.

deconstructing mermaid gowns and using asymmetric cuts. Details:
multi-strands necklaces with huge pendants.

Vista Alegre porcelains with floral and still life prints on soft
and lightweight dresses embellished with retrò details. The white
eyelet lace adorns jackets and hems representing flowers or
art-nouveau motives. Details: earrings and bracelets in the shape
of cutlery, not very original idea (as seen in Moschino Fall
Winter 1989/1990), but still funny.

Mi sembra interessante anche questa fashion week carioca. Quelli che mi sono piaciuti di più sono Auslander, Filhas de Gaia e Maria Bonita Extra. Ma quante sono le fashion week minori ma degne di nota nel mondo? Non ce n’è anche una a San Paolo? Poi ci sono quella australiana, quella tedesca, se non sbaglio ce n’è anche una spagnola e una a Los Angeles.
