Under the rain the guests await their turn to enter the Philological Circle of Via Clerici in Milan. In the entrance hall of the Art Nouveau building, a lot of balloons invade the space up to the upper floor, it seems a great party.
Between wet umbrellas and dripping raincoats, the lights go up on “coquillages et crustacés”, the spring summer 2013 collection by .normaluisa .
Exotic rhythms and songs from the 60’s makes you forget the bad weather taking on the beaches of Saint-Tropez, while several Brigitte Bardots dance on the catwalk wearing slightly flared clothes in bright colors such as fluorescent pink, strawberry, framboise and coral. The A-line shaped clothes with floral carvings and the mini dresses with puffed or butterfly sleeves, are mixed with the fine brocade palazzo pajamas decorated with silver paisley patterns, while the edges of sleeves and necklines are highlighted by small and stylish glass canoutilles.
The sand-colored jackets with white and blue vertical stripes, resembling the patterns of surfboards; sporty dresses with minimal silhouette and pop prints with pineapples, cocktails and exotic flowers take us to Miami. It’s a clash between the lifestyle of the two coasts, the French casual-glam and the American sporty-chic.
Chameleon and at ease in any situation, from the surf-training on the waves, to the cocktail at the Grand Hotel, never giving up her femininity and her joy of life, this is .normaluisa woman.

Questa è sicuramente una delle sfilate che ho amato di più durante la passata Milano Fashion Week!
I colori brillanti e la seta che svolazzavano davanti ai miei oggi mi hanno subito catapultata in un mondo parallelo..si direi proprio su di un lettino al sole di Saint Tropez con in mano un cocktail con l’ombrellino!
E poi il front row è sempre il meglio!!!
