Ennio Capasa and OVS industry present the EEQUAL project. A collaboration that celebrates the union of two important Italian groups: OVS, the retailer with 400 stores throughout Italy, and Ennio Capasa, designer and owner of the luxury brand Costume National.
The name EEQUAL is formed by the combination of the initial letter of Ennio with the word equal, and it expresses the democratic philosophy of bringing fashion to the general public.
Capasa said: “I felt the desire and responsibility to spread my idea of fashion, designing products accessible to everyone and offering high creativity at a low price. Everyday clothes for people who love fashion, but especially for the younger generation who are interested in my idea of a minimalist, sophisticated and contemporary style”.
City Chic, tailor made clothes reinterpreted by contemporary shapes in black, smoke gray.
Modern Hamptons, a chic and relaxed approach inspired by nature in cobalt, persimmon and apricot shades.
Downtown Edge, that combines rock and deconstructed military look in gray, emerald and ivory colours.
48 hours in St Barts, the navy world mixed with urban sportswear in navy blue, forest green, ice gray, red, orange, yellow.
There is also another famous OVS collaborations to be mentioned. The new SS2011 catalog is photographed by The Sartorialist, the famous photo-blogger Scott Schuman who posts looks and outfits from all over the world.
In Rome, real people and Italian celebrities are portrayed in casual settings wearing some items from the new OVS collection. The project is crowned by a charity aura, in fact, the funds raised by the fees of the participants have been devolved to Save the Children for the construction of three maternity wards and the training of specialized medical personnel in Mozambique.
ovs sta facendo davvero un ottimo lavoro, la qualità degli abiti è molto migliorata rispetto a quando era Upim! la colaborazione con the sartorialist poi è davvero un’idea geniale!
